In-ear monitors (IEMs) are devices used by musicians, sound engineers and audiophiles to listen to music or to hear a custom crafted mix of vocals and stage instrumentation for live performance or studio mixing. They are often custom fitted for an individual's ears and provide a high level of noise reduction from ambient surroundings. Fortunately there are many options available, but it is of utmost importance to choose the right monitor system for you before it is customized. Musicians Hearing Solutions is the only office in Los Angeles that offers demonstrations of all the products we carry, including Fir Audio, 64 Audio, Audio RiF, UE and Sensaphonics, so that you are absolutely satisfied you are making the right choice for your needs and budget.

Audiology Services
Professional Ear Impressions
- Otoscopic inspection of ear canal and eardrum.
- Cotton or foam block is placed past the second bend of the ear canal.
- A high viscosity silicone material is used to take the impression and it sets in approximately 5 minutes. Patient may be given a bite block to prop the jaw open during the time the impression is setting if this is specified by the manufacturer.
- After the impression material is removed another otoscopic inspection of the ear canal and eardrum is performed.
- Physical impressions are digitally scanned using advanced 3D technology.
$150.00 for ear impressions only; cost for impressions with purchase of monitors is $125.00. If ear cleaning is needed there is an additional fee of $90.00. 3D scanning is complimentary with product purchase; $30 if you are getting impressions only
Diagnostic Hearing Evaluation
Your hearing is important so it is recommended that you have a full diagnostic hearing test performed annually.
We are one of the only offices in Los Angeles to offer state of the art detailed hearing testing from 250 Hz – 20KHz (standard testing is from 250 Hz-8KHz).

We do not accept health insurance, however we can provide you with a paid invoice to submit for reimbursement if applicable to your insurance plan
Concierge Offsite Services
Travel to venue, rehearsal space or other arrangements can be made for impressions with an additional travel fee. Product demonstration can also be done offsite if specifically requested.
